Domaine Seror Winery – Rooted in Land, Culture, and Dream
Domaine Seror is a young Estate Winery in the Golan Heights, born entirely from a dream and the embodiment of love for the land and the country of Israel.
Every drop of our wines tells a story of deep connection between people and land, tradition and innovation, dream and reality. The journey began with a partnership of four friends, businessmen and entrepreneurs whose dream was to build a business firmly rooted in place, land, and Israeli culture, while also having a spiritual and personal dimension. They sought to establish a winery that would express their personal passions and ideals, uniting them with reality.
The pivotal meeting with Yuval Matzliach, a farmer from Avnei Eitan in the Golan Heights, introduced them to the magical world of wine and olive oil, showcasing the special combination of land and productive agriculture. This encounter paved the way for the establishment of Domaine Seror Winery.
Land, Grapes, and Wine
Domaine Seror Winery brings the message of local agriculture yielding quality and unique products. Our wines are elegant and complex, with undertones that release slowly and express the mosaic of the winery's story: Israeli agriculture, the Golan Heights terroir, partnership, and love for the land and country.
The winery's first vineyards – 20 dunam (5 acres) known as Kerem Matzliach – were planted in the summer of 2010, at an altitude of 400 meters on the unique basalt soil east of Avnei Eitan settlement. These vineyards grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah grapes – varieties that produce rich and complex red wines. Chenin Blanc, Viognier, and Grenache grapes come from the Kanatir Farm vineyards planted at approximately 450 meters above sea level, on a plain bordered by El Al Stream to the south, Samach Stream to the north, and the steep slopes of the Golan Heights to the west.
Visitors Center and Kashrut
The winery features a magnificent visitors center built entirely by Yuval Matzliach, hosting individuals and groups by appointment. Visitors can experience the magic of winemaking up close, taste from a selection of fine wines, and connect with the unique story of the winery.
All the winery's wines are kosher.
Our Vision
Domaine Seror was created and built to unite all these elements into a single, unique and special creation that is all about doing. The olive and vine – the agricultural and historical symbols of the Land of Israel – combined with friendship and European atmosphere, form the foundation of Domaine Seror's vision.
